The Bright Ideas in Health Awards is an annual competition organised by NHS Innovations North on behalf of the Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria.
The 2015 competition included two new categories: SME Innovation in Healthcare, sponsored by Onyx Health and the Patient and Public Involvement category, sponsored by the Clinical Research Network: North East and North Cumbria, which aims to shine the spotlight on those improving healthcare through clinical research and patient engagement.
Winning entries in the five categories were presented with their prizes at the prestigious awards ceremony on Thursday 21st May, held at the Hilton Hotel Newcastle Gateshead.
