You are invited to join us on 14 September from 9 am until 1 pm at The Beacon, Westgate Road to learn about our new home care toolkit developed by and for people with neurological conditions. The event will be opened by Dr Séamus O’Neill, Chief Executive of The Academic Health Science Network for the North East and North Cumbria (AHSN NENC) sponsors of the NNA’s toolkit, and Dr Margaret Stewart, Chair of the Northern Neurological Alliance (NNA). Our keynote speaker is Professor David Burns, Director of the Institute of Neuroscience and Professor of Movement Disorders Neurology and his talk will be followed by a presentation on the development of our home care toolkit and our future plans for embedding the toolkit in the care sector. Our table discussions will be led by Jill Kings, Clinical Lead for the NNA and Clinical Director of Neural Pathways. You are warmly invited to stay for lunch till 1 pm.
